Veronique Chance is an artist, Senior Lecturer and Course Leader of the MA Fine Art and MA Printmaking at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. She has a long-term interest in the representation of the body and its relationship to performance, documentation, technology and the embodied dynamics of spectatorship. This is closely linked to her PhD research, completed in 2012, during which she developed an endurance running-based practice as part of a larger enquiry into the performative nature of physical activity. She has been actively involved with the RUN! RUN! RUN! (#r3fest) Biennale, instigated by Kai Syng Tan and the interdisciplinary JISC Running Cultures Research Group, since 2014.
